3/17/17 - This is a mid-war Nazi Army issued Radom. Most likely late 1942 or 1943. This pistol has all original finish and matching parts including slide, frame and barrel. It is correctly waffen 77 proofed as well as WaA 623 proofed. The magazine is also Nazi waffen 189 proofed. The finish is about as nice as you will find on a wartime Radom as these are typically pretty worn , or very thinly finished. We rate this gun at about 94% overall condition. Most of the wear is normal edge wear and slide frosting. This gun, especially the grips straps is far better than most Radom we come across. The grips are red (and correct for a mid-war radom) and not the more common black grips. The bore is shiny and very strong. We rate it an 8 out of 10. Mechanically, the action is tight and working well. Guaranteed original.
