3/15/17 - This is an original, pre WW2 production CZ model 24. The pistol is similar to the CZ -27, but it's in .380 ACP, and the legend on the top of the pistol says, "CESKA ZEBROJOVKA A.S. v. PRAZE 139". The lack of German military proof stamps, and early three digit serial number, suggest to me that this is a very early pistol. The pistol is in great shape compared to most other examples I've seen. The bluing on the slide has thinned in a few places, but there is no rust or pitting on the pistol. The straw colored trigger is also in great shape, but is missing some of the finish due to use and age. The wood grip is excellent with no cracks or issues. The front strap appears to have a unit stamp "P 17 211". The front strap shows some thinning of finish as well, but again this is normal wear from use and aging. The bore is surprisingly excellent with only one or two small specs of residue. The rifling is in tact and excellent. Guaranteed original.
