7/14/20 - This is an original Colt SAA Model 1873 issued to the US Army in 1890. Just in time for the post-Civil War Indian battle campaigns in the West. It has a 7.5" barrel. It is an antique. It is "US" property marked on the frame and "RAC"-proofed on the gun throughout. There are also two "K" inspection proofs on the frame. Overall, the gun is in good condition. Most of the bluing is gone but the metal is clean and not corroded. There is light pin-pricking and areas of discoloration throughout. Original grips. The gun is all matching. There is a "5" on the right grip panel. It could be a unit marking. The bore is worn with some corrosion, 5/10. The action is tight and the timing is excellent.
