4/23/20 - This is a hard-to-find and desirable, early 1941 Colt M1911. This, of course, was made before the US entered WW2, so production numbers were comparably very low. Also this is one of the last of the blued guns as the factory switched over to a parkerized finish in 1941. RS inspector proof is on the side of the frame and also on top of frame. The slide is correctly numbered to the gun. Proper Colt barrel with a large G under the barrel. Bore is strong but a little frosted. It also has the correct grip and magazine. The original finish is about 90% but has bit of discoloration on the slide. Overall, a very nice example with some minor wear and finish issues.
