1/11/21 - This is a scarce, original example of a Colt M1911A1 that was manufactured in 1941. There were only ~35,000 produced that year, fewer than the production numbers of the Union Switch & Signal 1911A1's, for example. The pistol has proper RS inspector mark on frame, both internally and externally. The slide is matching numbered the frame and the barrel is a proper Colt example with large 'G' under lug. Excellent grips. Bore shows minor frost but mostly shiny with good rifling. Original parkerized finish rates at about 95% with muzzle and edge wear, as well as some thinning on the top of the slide.
