SOLD - Saginaw Gear M1 Carbine

2/7/18 - This is a nice and original example of an M1 Carbine produced by Saginaw Gear in Grand Rapids, Michigan.  The serial dates it to 1943, and it is in good condition with no major flaws to the stock and common patina in the metal.  Sling cut is marked RSG and right side stock has an SG cartouche.  Bottom of the wrist shows the proper P proof in circle.  Left side stock is proofed SA over C.  World War II original sling.  Bore is excellent and shiny with a spot of minor corrosion near the muzzle.  No import marks.
