2/7/18 - This is an early M1 Carbine with six-digit serial, produced by Inland in 1942. It is in good condition with uniform patina to the metal and only minor nicks and dings in the stock. The Inland barrel is dated to May of 1943. The sling cut is IO marked with the flaming bomb. P proof is visible on the wrist, and crossed cannons cartouche is visible on the right side stock. The left side stock is marked AAP, likely meaning the stock was reworked by Augusta Arsenal after the war. World War II original sling. MN marked magazine. Excellent and shiny bore.
