5/22/17 - The vast majority of the .22 caliber PP's were crown/N proofed. This is one of the very hard to find Eagle/N marked guns from 1940. The obvious reason for its rarity is that once the war started all of the production was for military and state security. Therefore, there was little demand for the .22 caliber. This gun is matching and has all original finish at about 97%. Comes with correct wartime grips and .22 caliber magazine - includes the finger extension. Smooth action, minty bore. Great shooter as well as very collectible.
