5/1/18 - This is an excellent example of a rare 1906 DWM Navy Luger. It has a nice high polish finish covering about 96% of the gun, with the straps being particularly nice. There is some tiny pin pricking around the Naval Property mark and on the lug stock. Fairly common and somewhat expected in an all original Navy gun due to a salt mist environment. The numbers on this gun are ALL matching with the exception of the correct Navy Magazine. The safety position is altered (2nd variation) so that the "Gesichert" is in the upper position. It is also WW 6127 property marked signifying that it was issued to the Wilhelmshaven Navy Base in the pre-WW1 to WW1 time period. The finish and all parts are original and authentic. It has some oxidation on the bluing and straw parts but better than most Navy lugers offered as it is over 100 years old!. Bore has strong rifling and shows minor use.
