10/16/19 - An all original M1906 Navy luger is getting very hard to find, especially in this condition and with the original, matching magazine! Serial number 6474 would make it one of the early guns with no suffix. It is an altered first variation (meaning the position of the safety lever was altered). The Model 1906 is distinguished by having no chamber date, and the grip safety lever. The original finish is about 95-96% and the straw colored small parts are about 80%. The bore is mint, hardly looks used. The original grips are equal to the fine condition of the gun and they are properly numbered to the gun as well. Original matching magazine is present. All other numbered parts on this gun are correct and matching. The back of the grip has a Navy property mark (W.D. 220) which indicates it was issued to the dockyard at Danzig in the Pre-WW1 period. Most likely also saw service in the Great War. There are no import marks or GERMANY export stamps making this Luger an all original configuration gun. It has proper Crown/M proof marks on the barrel, receiver and toggle. Also has the correct adjustable rear site.
