7/1/21 - This is a very nice example of a super rare variation of Walther P.38 issued to the Nazi military in 1941. There were only 400 of this variation produced! The gun is all matching and has the proper "Eagle 359" proofs throughout, even on the small parts. What makes this one rare is the mixed military proofs on the right side of the slide "Waffen 359" and "Eagle 359". It has retained about 92-93% of its original high polish finish. There is wear around the high edges of the slide and around the muzzle. An area of spotty wear on the right side of the slide. Minor scratchy wear on the front strap. Minor pitting on the top plate. Comes with excellent matching grips and a period-correct numbered but mismatched magazine. The bore is shiny with strong rifling with freckling throughout. De-cocker is functional.
