7/1/21 - This is an excellent example of a Walther P.38 issued to the Nazi military in 1940. The gun is all matching and has the proper "Eagle 359" military proofs throughout, except for on a couple of small parts. It has retained about 98% of its finish. There are hints of wear on the high edges and minor scratchy wear on the front strap and underside of the trigger guard. There are some light scratches on the right side of the slide and underside of the frame. There is an area of oxidation and pin-pricking on the left side of the slide near the safety lever. Comes with excellent grips - one is numbered and matching, the other is un-numbered. Comes with a scarce late-war "U"-marked Walther magazine. Excellent bore - shiny with strong rifling. De-cocker is functional.
