7/3/21 - This is a mint example of a Minty Simson Luger. It has no maker mark or chamber date, but it was likely manufactured in the 1930's. It was then reworked and issued to the Nazi police force during WW2. It is all matching, has Simson proofs, and an added police sear safety. It also comes with two police arsenal-numbered matching magazines. It's interesting that they used one WW1-era and one WW2-era magazine. The WW2-era magazine has a police "Star K" marking. There is also a "L.E. 75" police unit marking on the front strap. It has retained about 98% of its finish. There are just hints of wear on the side plate, side rails, and around the muzzle. Some tiny freckling on the straps and side plate. Comes with minty un-numbered wood grips. The bore has good rifling with minor pin-pricking throughout.
