10/8/20 - This is a minty example of a Harrington & Richardson M1 Garand, manufactured in 1951. The gun is minty condition, having retained almost all of its finish. There is some wear around the muzzle and a few very small areas of freckling. One part just in front of the rear sight looks like it may have been replaced. The stock is excellent - there is a DOD acceptance stamp on the left side and a "P" proof on the grip. There are two rectangular repairs on the front handguard. The handguard wiggles a little bit. The bore has strong rifling, but there is minor pitting throughout. Comes with a mint leather sling.
