3/20/17 - This is a mid-war (1943) Browning High Power that went to the Nazi army as evidenced by the waffen 140 proofs on the gun. The original finish is a nice blue color and covers about 96% of the gun. There is typical muzzle wear but no rust or pitting. Front strap has the typical holster "swipe" on it. All matching frame, slide and barrel, with the mid-war A suffix. The grips are excellent and match the condition of the gun. The magazine is a wartime magazine but I see no waffen proof on the spine. The bore has strong rifling but frosting in the grooves. I would rate the bore a 6 out of 10.
