3/20/17 - This is a near MINT example of a variation getting harder to find! It is considered a "factory" variation as they were ordered and marked directly from the Walther factory. The RJ on the front strap is the distinct characteristic and the marking is UNDER the original bluing. This gun was made in 1938 or 39. The original finish is about 98% and it has a beautiful high polish blue finish. The strap in particular are often dulled from use, but this gun has the nice gloss finish throughout. The bore is of course minty as well. It has the correct weighted grips and original magazine. Crown N proofs are correctly found on the frame, slide , and barrel. RJ PP's were issued to the "Reichs Bureau of Justice", or in other words, the courts, judges, guards, etc. Probably rarely used other than annual "qualifying trials".
