SOLD - M1892 US Navy Colt Revolver

4/25/18 - This is a somewhat rare US Navy issued Colt M1892.   It comes in double action .38 Colt.   The original finish covers about 80+% of the gun with uniform thinning and patina to the straps and baarrel.  All serial numbers are matching.  The bottom of the frame has the USN marking with the Navy anchor.  Also, it is property marked.  Many parts have a star proof which indicates that it was reworked at some point - probably upgraded for either WW1 or WW2.  The bore is fairly strong with no pitting.  Very nice for a gun over 100 years old.  The gun comes with the original holster marked USN as well.  Leather has some cracking but overall about the same condition as the gun.  Leather plug at the bottom of the holster is missing.
