10/6/20 - This is a gorgeous and highly desirable 1906 DWM Second Issue Navy Luger. Only about 2,000 of this particular variation were manufactured and fall into the 9000a - 998b serial range. The gun is all matching and has the correct Navy "M" markings on the left side of the slide. The chamber is blank, which is correct for this variation. The gun is in minty condition, having retained about 98% of its original bluing. There is very minor muzzle wear and on some of the high edges. There is also a spot of wear and a few marks on the front strap. Very light scratch on the side plate. Minty grips. Comes with a period-correct Navy magazine that does not match the gun. The bore is shiny and has strong rifling with just very light pin-pricking in the grooves.
