12/10/20 - This is a very nice example of a scarce "K Date" Luger P.08 issued to the Nazi military in 1934. These guns had the "K" date code because they were manufactured in violation of Germany's obligation to not produce guns under the Treaty of Versailles. The gun is all matching and has the proper "B 90" and "S 91" military proofs on the right side of the slide. The toggle has the "S/42" Mauser factory code. The gun has retained about 85-90% of its original bluing. There is wear around the muzzle, down the length of the barrel, on the side plate, and there is thinning on the chamber. There is minor wear and some small dings on the high edges of the frame. Small areas of wear at the base of both straps. Excellent grips that match the gun. It comes with a rare "B 90" marked G Date magazine. The bore is mint. As an added bonus, this gun was part of the very well-known Bob Young collection.
