3/25/20 - This is an original British Air Fleet Type C flying helmet from WW2. The helmet has supple, soft leather that's in excellent condition. Only some very minor surface scuffs on one of the ear pieces - shown in photos. Excellent stitching throughout the helmet, and the zippers function without any snags. The interior has a few light / fading ink stamps, but one appears to be a Royal Air Force ink stamp. The interior is very soft with only light darkening from use.
