11/15/19 - This is an excellent example of an original 1943/44 Spreewerke P.38. Its original original finish rates about 95% with most of the wear being thinning on the front strap, the muzzle, and discoloration on the tang. It comes with period-correct beautiful reddish grips. The bore is worn. The gun functions properly for the most part, but the decocker does not work. This is a common issue with guns put together with forced labor. The gun shows signs of crude workmanship. Otherwise, the mechanics are just fine. The gun comes with a period-correct JVD magazine numbered to a different gun.
