11/15/19 - This is an SVW 45 Mauser P.38, most likely made just before the end of the war. It was likely then finished by the French who took over the factory in May of 1945. You will notice the French star on the right side of slide. Overall, the gun is in excellent condition. The finish rates about 97%. Most of the wear is thinning on the high edges, around the muzzle, and some light scratches here and there. It comes with nice wartime Mauser grips - just a bit of scuffing on the back of the grips. It also comes with a JVD wartime magazine (1945). All matching parts including the barrel and locking block. Mechanically sound including the decocker. The bore is shiny and nice, 8/10. It is import marked under the slide, on the edge of the bottom rail.
