8/1/19 - This is an original late WW1 production 1918 dated Eddystone rifle. The rifle is in great to excellent condition overall. The metal has no rust or pitting, and almost all of the original bluing in tact. The receiver and barrel are flaming bomb ordnance stamped. The bore is the biggest (and only) issue with this rifle, being 5/10 rated due to corrosion and residue throughout. Would really benefit from a good cleaning, and would likely greatly improve as the rifling appears strong still. Externally there's minimal wear of note on the metal and wood stock. 1918 dated on the barrel. Smooth action and fully functional.
