12/11/19 - This is a Nazi issued Walther P.38 from August of 1941, with one of its original, matching magazines. It's a second variation pistol with high-polish blue but no 'ac' proof on frame. The majority of the finish loss is on the right side of the slide and the trigger guard. Walther proofs are properly marked on all small parts, including the grips. Bore is bright and shiny with only minor signs of use. Pistol has good mechanics, including the safety.
