9/30/21 - This is a very nice example of an Arisaka Type 38 rifle issued to the Japanese military during WW2. The bolt and receiver are mismatched, but it does have a fully intact on the receiver. It has retained most of its finish, but there is heavy spotty oxidation along the whole barrel and on the barrel bands. There are areas of minor oxidation and pin-pricking on the receiver. There are scratches, bruises, and dings on the stock throughout - a few small chips. The bore is near-mint - shiny with strong rifling. Comes with an original cleaning rod.
