9/27/21 - This is an excellent example of a Walther K43 Sniper Rifle issued to the Nazi military in 1945. The gun is all matching and has the proper waffen military proofs throughout. Most of the parts have a late-war phosphate finish - the barrel is blued. It comes equipped with a period-correct ZF4 rifle scope (optics are a little cloudy). The scope mount is a reproduction. The gun also comes with a cleaning rod, a period-correct leather sling, and a proper magazine. The gun has retained most of its original finish. There is minor scratchy wear around the muzzle and on the barrel. Spotty oxidation here and there on the barrel. Some splotchy discoloration on the receiver - typical of these finishes. The stock is excellent but looks like it was likely lightly sanded. There is what looks like a faint waffen proof on the underside of the wrist. The bore is mint.
