9/27/21 - This is a nice example of a G33/40 Mountain Carbine issued to the Nazi military in 1940. It has a "945" factory code, indicating it was manufactured in the BRNO factory. It is all matching but there is a Czech marking on the safety lever, so it is likely a replacement. It has the proper waffen military proofs throughout. The gun has retained the majority of its finish, but there is splotchy wear and discoloration throughout. Some patina on the floor plate and trigger group. The stock has no visible markings. It is in decent shape, but it has bruising, dings, and scratches throughout. The bore has strong rifling with minor pin-pricking throughout.
