2/17/20 - This is an original WW2 Luftwaffe helmet, model 42. The helmet has a luftwaffe decal on the left side of the shell, with about 90% of the decal in tact. There is wear / textured patina throughout the shell on both the external and internal sides - but mixed in with the original painted finish. The interior of the shell is ET maker stamped with size 64 and lot number 1818. The original leather liner is in great condition with some light / normal wear around the edge of the liner. Overall a nice, straight forward piece.
