3/1/24 - This is an original and great condition 1909 Argentine Mauser bayonet. This bayonet comes with the original matching scabbard. The scabbard has some finish loss and one small dent below the frog stud. The blade has been well persevered and shows very little patina. The edge has not been sharpened. The ricasso is maker-stamped and has a serial number that matches the sheath; it reads K1233. Crossguard and pommel show some light surface patina with no significant issues. The handle is fitted with excellent dark brown wood grips that have no chips, splits, or cracks.
