4/20/22 - This is a minty example of a Smith & Wesson Military police revolver, manufactured around 1956 and chambered in .38 Special. 6" barrel. The gun is matching and comes in a period-correct box. The box is not numbered but is labeled "Nickel Finish 6-INCH BARREL", so may have come with the gun. The gun has retained virtually all of its original nickel-plating. There are just micro-scratches in the finish here and there (typical) and a tiny, more noticeable scratch on the right side of the barrel near the muzzle. Comes with excellent period-correct wood grips. Mint bore. The cylinder is tight, and the action is smooth.
