5/5/22 - This is a nice example of an early Mosin-Nagant Model 1891 Rifle issued to the Russian military in 1907. It is all matching, has no import marks, and has the proper early Russian seal on the receiver. The stock is not numbered but does have a circular seal on the right side of the butt stock. Overall, the gun is in nice condition, but there is light brown patina covering all of the metal parts. Some areas of light pin-pricking, especially on the barrel. The stock has no major damage, but there are some small chips especially on the underside of the butt stock and upper handguard. Some light paint marks on the butt stock. The bore has decent rifling, but there is noticeable oxidation throughout.
