6/14/19 - This is an excellent example of a Winchester M1 Carbine, made in the latter months of 1944. Low wood stock with sharp cartouche on right side of stock. W proof on barrel and in the sling well. Handguard is also W marked inside. Excellent parkerized finish on metal parts with correctly blued bolt. Stock is in great shape with only minor nicks and dings. Has adjustable rear sight and bayo lug - may have been made at the end of World War II and then never issued until the Korean War. Excellent bore. S-O marked magazine.
