7/9/20 - This is an excellent Walther PP rig, made in 1942. This is a commercial gun with the proper Eagle/N proofs. The gun is all matching. What makes this one special is that "1" in the serial number on the slide is factory overstamped. Overall, the gun is in excellent condition, retaining 90+% of its original finish. The profile views are excellent. There is one small spot of discoloration on the top of the slide. This one is difficult to rate, given the nature of the wear - both of the straps have minor thinning and an even layer of brown patina. The bore is minty. It comes with a period-correct wartime PP magazine and holster in great condition. Light handling marks on the holster throughout.
