9/11/20 - This is an original Smith and Wesson Victory revolver, issued to the US Naval Aviation during WW2. The left side of the frame says "Property of US Navy". There isn't much actual finish loss on this one - it has retained about 95%. However, there are light surface scratches and handling marks throughout. There are also very small dots of oxidation throughout. There is minor muzzle wear, wear on the high edges of the frame and cylinder, and wear on the frame just behind the hammer. Very light roll mark on the cylinder. The gun functions well and the action is smooth. The lanyard loop is in tact. The grips are in tact, but there are noticeable dings in them. The right grip panel is numbered but not matching to the gun. The bore is minty. The cylinder matches the frame. 4" barrel.
