4/24/19 - This is an excellent example of a scarce and desirable Mauser K98 variation, made at the French Mauser factory and marked 'svw 45'. The rifle is all matching and original with about 90% finish remaining on metal parts, with minor thinning on the barrel and standard thinning on the buttplate. The finish is phosphate on most of the rifle, giving it a nice tinge of greenish color. Some blued parts, like bolt release and front barrel band. Very nice stock with multiple waffenamts, and properly unnumbered for a rifle this late. Excellent bore. Unmarked sling.
