6/9/21 - This is a very nice example of a Sauer 38h issued to the Nazi police force during WW2. The frame and slide are mismatched but it does have a proper police "Eagle C" proof on the trigger guard. Early checkered magazine release button. It has retained about 91-92% of its original high polish finish. There is spotty wear at the base of both straps and on the tang. Minor wear on the high edges of the slide and around the muzzle. There are small areas of oxidation and significant pitting on both sides of the slide and on the underside of the trigger guard. Comes with excellent grips and a period-correct magazine. The bore is mint.
