8/31/20 - This is a zero-prefix Spreewerk P.38 rig, issued to the Nazi military in 1945. The gun comes with a minty, 1944-dated pebble-grain holster and two "U"-marked magazines. The gun is all matching and has the proper "Eagle 88" Nazi military acceptance proofs. The right side of the slide is marked "U". The nature of the rough machining on these Spreewerk guns makes the finish on this particular example difficult to rate, but our best approximation is about 90%. There is thinning in the finish, most noticeable on the left side of the slide and front strap. There are a few very light scratches on the right side of the slide. The de-cocker is broken, but the rest of the gun is functional. The holster is waffenamt and in minty condition - just a few scuffs on the belt loops. The bore has decent rifling but there is freckling throughout. Excellent period-correct grips.
