SOLD - Minty WW1 1916 Artillery Luger Rig
10/16/17 - This is one of the nicest Artillery lugers we have ever offered. The original finish is about 99% overall. The gun is so nice that we first questioned whether this had been restored, but a bright light will reveal some brown patina under the finish. The bore is also minty which is a sign of original finish/condition of gun overall. Grips are numbered to the gun and minty as well. Comes with an imperial tool, correct cleaning rod, and 1915 dated holster also all minty condition. The magazine is matching numbered to the gun, as is the stock. So all numbers and parts are original and matching to this gun. Only two "issues" to point out. The closure strap on the cup is partially ripped and then glued so you definitely don't want to pull on that. Also the stock does not have an imperial proof on it. So either it was skipped or the matching hardware on the stock was swapped. (if you have an Imperial proofed stock you could swap it back) Either way this issue creates a bit of a distraction. So while this Rig is easily worth 7500, we are listing at a significant discount. Priced to sell!
