3/6/19 - This Winchester pump action rifle was made in 1907 and is in very good condition. It is a 3rd model, with several 2nd model transitional features including a rare tang marked “WINCHESTER TRADE MARK,” four barrel markings found only in a narrow serial number range, and a rear sight #44. All other features are standard for the 3rd model. All parts are factory original and not tampered with. All serial numbers are matching. The barrel retains approximately 90% original blue with a few light wear spots. Receiver and magazine tube retain approximately 70% blue with additional wear on top and bottom handling areas and tangs. There is some light speckling on most metal parts. There is no rust or pitting. All lettering is crisp and clear. The action is tight with no play. The bore is mostly shiny but does have some freckling and frost throughout. The wooden parts are all in excellent undamaged condition with light handling marks.
