1/31/19 - This is s great example of a very desirable Winchester M1895 Carbine, chambered in .30-40 Krag (.30 government), that retains about 85-90% of its original blue with most of the wear confined to the high edges of the receiver and the lever. The wood has its original finish with no cracks or pieces missing. Minty bore - looks like it's barely been used. Very few saddle ring carbines were made in this model and are highly prized by the collectors. To find one in such outstanding original condition is nearly impossible. Sling swivels still present. No pitting or rust anywhere.
