1/4/21 - This is an excellent example of a Walther PP Rig made in 1970. The rig comes with a 1963-dated holster, one finger-extension magazine, and one flat-bottom magazine. It is all matching and has "Eagle 863" and "RP" markings. Although the slide legends are not marked this way, these pistols were part of a special contract with the German military police and are often referred to as the P21 or Bundeswehr. The "RP" marking indicates that this pistol was issued to the Rheinland-Pflaz police force. This one has retained about 95% of its bluing. There is minor wear around the muzzle and on the high edges of the slide. There is pin-pricking and patina on the straps. Excellent grips. Excellent bore - shiny with strong rifling.
