7/15/21 - This is a nice example of a very late Walther PPK manufactured toward the end of the run, in 1944. It is all matching and has the proper "Eagle N" proofs. This gun happens to be in a block of SS issued guns. It also comes with a very close but not matching SS bottom-numbered magazine in the same range. So it is likely this gun was issued to the SS. The frame has a really nice plumb color to it. The gun has retained somewhere between 85-90% of its original finish. There is significant thinning on the front strap, minor wear on the high edges of the slide and and around the muzzle, and spotty discoloration along the whole left side of the slide. There is also minor pitting along the left side of the slide. It comes with a nice late-war black grip that is chipped along the top of the left side. Also comes with a proper wartime magazine. Mint bore.
