7/9/21 - This is an excellent example of a fifth variation, end-of-war Walther PP manufactured in 1945. Many of these guns are mismatched, but this one is matching and has the proper "ac" Walther factory code on the right side of the slide. No slide legend. The interesting thing about this gun is that it has no test proofs. It has retained about 97% of its finish. There is very minor wear around the high edges of the slide and around the muzzle. There are light handling marks and scratches down the length of the slide. Some brown patina on the straps. Comes with nice grips - there is a separation crack in the left panel and a few tiny cracks in the right panel. Comes with a wartime finger extension magazine. Minty bore.
