2/3/21 - This is a very nice example of a Colt Model 1909 revolver issued to the US Army during WW1. It is "United States Property" marked under the barrel and has "R.A.C." inspector initials on the frame and bottom of the grips. It has retained roughly 85-90% of its original high polish bluing. Most of the wear is on the barrel and around the muzzle. There are light handling marks and areas of spotty brown patina throughout. The cylinder is tight and the action is smooth. Excellent bore - shiny with strong rifling.
