4/30/20 - This is a great example of a very rare variation Spreewerke P.38, the Zero Series CYQ with an FN slide. The slide is marked "AC44". Apparently, there were only 700 of this specific variation produced. The finish rates at 97-98%, but likely was Russian dipped and later cleaned, which is very common for these end of war guns. The internals are correctly in the white, supporting the idea that it was cleaned up. There's a bit of high edge wear, and the right side of the slide has a bit of surface freckling. Excellent bore. The waffenamts on the frame have been peened. The slide has the correct "M" and "U" acceptance stamps. Excellent grips. Spreewerk magazine.
