9/6/18 - This is a scarce, excellent 1934 Mauser rig made in 1940. This gun would have been produced just before the factory switched over to HSC production. It is Eagle/N proofed which helps to determine the date. It is also Nazi test proofed on the back left side of the frame and Eagle/655 proofed, indicating it was issued to the German Army. These guns are fairly rare with an estimate of only ~8,000 procured by the army. The original finish covers about 97% of the gun in a nice high-polish finish. The slide shows standard edge wear and there is minor finish loss on the front strap. It has the correct one piece wood grips and correct 1934 magazine. It comes with a 1941 dated and Berlin marked police holster by Otto Sindel. The bore is shiny and strong.
