4/5/21 - This is a like-new Walther P.38. It is of the scarce "single line" slide legend variation. It comes with the original matching box, matching test target, owners manual, steel cleaning rod, and two proper magazines. The gun is all matching and has the proper German proofs. No import marks. The test target is dated 31 January, 1966. The "circle in dot" proofs matching numbered frame, slide, barrel, and locking block, and "plain box" are all indicators that this P.38 was intended for military/government issue. This gun was diverted to commercial sale with the looming US Gun Control Act of 1968. The gun is in mint, like-new condition with no signs of wear. Mint bore. De-cocker is functional.
