2/1/18 - This is a Remington 1911A1, in all original configuration, from the end of World War II. The serial dates this pistol to 1945, and it has the correct parkerized finish and HS barrel. There's about 5% wear because of some spotty oxidization on the right side of the pistol. Correct grips and a mirror bore. Wartime magazine. Crossed cannons cartouche on right side frame and proper FJA inspectors mark.
