3/29/18 - This is an outstanding example of a pre-war Smith & Wesson Military and Police Target Revolver, chambered in .38 special and shipped to the famous Von Lengerke & Antoine company in Chicago in 1930. This is the rarest of the M&P models and very few were made in this particular configuration. The gun is “as new in the box”, and retains over 99% of it beautiful high luster blue with a light cylinder line. It also comes with its original box, marked “target”. The grips and bore are mint and the gun is all matching. The accompanying factory letter gives a very nice historical summary of this particular model and lists the gun’s special features.
