7/30/19 - This is a beautiful example of a pre-war Russian Nagant revolver, made in 1939 at the Tula factory. The gun is in nearly new condition, and is marked with a Finnish property SA (SUOMEN ARMEA) marking, right under the Tula factory star. It appears, that after being issued to one of the Russian army officers, it ended up in Finnish hands during the Winter War of 1939. It probably remained in Finnish arsenals for the duration of WWII, which would account for its incredible condition. The bluing is absolutely original, showing just a hint of edge wear and a little rotational wear on the cylinder. All the markings are sharp. Many Russian military proofs are present throughout. The Finnish SA mark is sharp and is absolutely 100% original. Excellent grips. The bore is shiny with strong rifling, but does have minor freckling. An impossible to upgrade pre-war example and comes on the market once in many years.
